FIPME Ordinary and Elective General Assembly: Members Reaffirm Their Confidence in Dr. Kanigui OUATTARA.

The Ivorian Federation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (FIPME) held its Ordinary General Election Meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at its headquarters in Abidjan, attended by the professional associations and organizations that are members of the umbrella organization.
The meeting began with a general update provided by the outgoing president, Dr. Kanigui OUATTARA, followed by the reading and adoption of the minutes of the Ordinary General Assembly held on July 10, 2025.
Dr. Kanigui OUATTARA then presented the annual report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025. In his remarks, he highlighted the main actions taken to strengthen the organization, as well as the initiatives undertaken to promote and support Ivorian SMEs.
The financial report for fiscal year 2025 was presented by the Executive Director, Mr. Jean-Serge ANON, followed by the presentation of the report by the independent auditor, KPMG.
Following these presentations and after gathering feedback from the audience, the various reports were unanimously approved, thereby granting the directors a discharge for their management.
A highlight of this General Assembly was the election of the members of the new Board of Directors, which resulted in the reelection of Dr. Kanigui OUATTARA as president of the FIPME.
On this occasion, Dr. Joseph BOGUIFO, Honorary President of the Ivorian Federation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (FIPME), who led the federation from 2014 to 2022, blessed the new Board before offering his congratulations to the elected directors. He praised the renewed confidence placed in the reelected president and expressed his best wishes for success during this new term.
Responding to his reelection, Dr. Kanigui OUATTARA expressed his gratitude to the member associations and organizations for their renewed confidence. He reaffirmed his determination to continue the reforms already underway, to strengthen the mobilization of professional organizations, and to consolidate the role of the FIPME as a key player in the development of SMEs in Côte d’Ivoire.
